Score system, team entry fees, DOMAIN DANCE® Level 1&2 skills set, lesson plans, meet schedule, are reviewed in the educational site licensing coach handbook at IN PERSON SEMINARS.

RUBRIC BASED SCORE SYSTEM

Our score system, designed by Jann Davis who created the ORIGINAL ADJUDICATED SCORE SYSTEM in 1976, is offered ONLY at our LIVE-IN PERSON events. The score system is based on the ROUTINE CONTENT, and therefore is OBJECTIVE. The score system is explained at our In Person American Sport Dance Game® Seminars.

SCORING AND SPECIFIC AWARDS

Each Meet section has a fifth to first placement. Each student is given an award pin. The Jann Davis Company holds seminars for dance educators to attend and become members of the AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF DANCE INSTRUCTORS®/AADI. At these seminars attendees learn what should be given as awards and additional placements is discussed to avoid future controversies. An explanation of how the RUBRIC SCORE SYSTEM works is also discussed.
