Why you should choose me as your dance business coach…
I owned a dance studio, starting in the basement of my home, transitioned to a two-room facility and then to multiple locations. I owned a private seasonal dance competition, which then became a tour. I created the ORIGINAL ADJUDICATED SCORE SYSTEM for dance competitions used globally and have created a new student achievement event, an alternative to lengthy dance competitions where your can OWN and EARN the profit with like-minded dance friends.
After working as a long-term substitute English teacher, I transitioned into public education, accomplishing a life-long dream! I embraced using technology in the classroom, in its early stages, completing my teaching career as a technology integration specialist and a global virtual teacher, my students lived in Great Britain, France, Saudi Arabia, and Chatham MA.
Prior to retirement, I attended many sport events, loved the camaraderie, the short season, and length of “games”, reviewed my dance competition guidelines, adjudicated multiple current dance team and private competitions, and created new ways to achieve for our students. The pandemic brought requests from former dance students to teach online. Based on my previous online teaching, I decided to create a new model for the dance studio industry, a book, pdf file available ONLY at IN PERSON seminars, and a workshop offering professional development which includes certifications for adjudicat0rs and instructors for American Sport Dance Games® and the EXPECTATIONS For Dance Curriculum Frameworks® an educational site license that provides a specific curriculum called DOMAIN DANCE® which is used in our American Sport Dance Games® for a true objective score system based on the content of your routines, we call RUBRIC SCORE SYSTEM®. DOMAIN DANCE® has six levels of competency.
